Pastor Logan Parton
Born and raised in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Bro. Logan was brought up under the shadow of a steeple. As he recalls the day when the Lord saved him at the young age of 10 years old he remembers the feeling of Holy Ghost conviction penetrating his soul and the feeling of helplessness outside of Jesus Christ. On September 13, 2002 just minutes after the Sunday Morning service in a small baptist church in the mountains the Lord gloriously saved Bro. Logan and the feeling of conviction and guilt melted away and peace replaced it. At the age of 15 years old after a few years of wasting time with half hearted living; Bro. Logan felt the unction of God to preach the Word. "I first felt the call while reading the bible late at night, alone, trying to figure out the will of God for my life. I immediately told the Lord, not me! I did not want to preach. I ran from the call for about 4 months and it was the most miserable time of life, outside of the few days before I got saved." Just a few short days after his 16th birthday, Logan surrendered to the call of God to preach. Since then the Lord has blessed him to preach all across the Southeast United States for last 10 years as an evangelist of the Gospel. He began pastoring at 24 years old in Cherokee, NC. With no formal education from college, Bro. Logan leans heavily upon the Holy Spirit to lead and guide him in preaching and pastoring the church. He met his wife, Amanda, in high school and they were married on October 26, 2013. She has faithfully supported his endeavors as a preacher and pastor. She has always been and stood by his side through all the ups and downs of the ministry.
"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
- 1 Corinthians 15:10
